Chapter 51

“We’ll be dissolving Cohen, Gilcrest, and Sampson. Del Monte and I are buying out Gilcrest and Sampson and the clients will be divided amongst us. I’ll be looking for a commercial property in Princeton this weekend to start setting us up while we draw up the dissolution agreement. From our side, we’re making the practice smaller and taking on only ethical clients, not the Wall Street and hedge fund lot that Gilcrest and Sampson wanted us to represent. I’m going to take my associates and the junior partners of the old firm that follow our new ethical guidelines and don’t mind working in New Jersey. We’ll also be taking some of the paralegals. Denise and Valerie will be joining us. Edith, I know you won’t have a problem commuting to Princeton, you live in New Brunswick, don’t you?”

“This will save me money and time. Thanks for keeping me, Jake.”
