“What took you so long?” scolded Armand.
“We had to tell Richard something about lunch.” Sean had his nose up in the air.
“Oh, lunch, that’s code for ask me no questions, and I’ll tell you no lies.” Armand clapped Sean on the back. “Let’s go, baby.”
“We’ll stop at Mr. Abbott’s. Armand and I don’t need to go to Barney’s because Julien will know what to get there. You’ll need temporary shoes,” Sean said as they all climbed into Armand’s limousine.
“I can wear my old ones to the office in the meantime.” Richard smiled.
“You’re going to the office?” Both of Julio’s brows shot up.
“Well, if Julien is going to be my mentor, how can I learn anything if I don’t go to the office with him?”
“We don’t need to stop at Barneys for suits, mon ange, just casual clothes. I’m on vacation for two weeks.” Julien sat next to Richard in the limousine and put his arm around the back of his shoulder.
“I’m sorry, I’m keeping you from your vacation plans,” Richard said in consternation.
