Chapter 21

“Who is it?” A woman’s trembling voice came from inside the apartment.

“My name is Milo Hawkins,” Milo introduced himself. “Mariana sent me a message earlier this morning.”

“Oh!”

Immediately afterward, someone opened the door. It was an older woman, and she was probably somewhere in her mid to late forties. Kenta also noticed the two children who were cowering behind her. He estimated the boy’s age to be around eleven or twelve, and the girl was possibly three or four years younger than her brother.
