“He is,” Milo replied. “He’s just asleep. Let him rest. The possession has taken its toll on him. I don’t expect him to be awake for the next twelve hours or so. Maybe much longer than that.”

“But he’s all right?” Carlos, Joshua’s other father, inquired as he stepped closer to Gregory and wrapped one arm over his husband’s shoulders.

Milo nodded. “I’ll leave you my number so you can contact me directly instead of going through the channel you used previously.”
