He’s enigmatic and I didn’t expect that. And Bump, he and I are having dinner tomorrow here at my place. We have a lot of catching up to do.


Myles is going to be here in about fifteen minutes, so I need to get myself together. I was doing fine, Bump. I came home from work, had a nice long shower, got dressed, clicked into my favorite playlist on my phone, poured myself a glass of white wine, and got started on dinner. I was slicing mushrooms, when the annoying email notification interrupted the music. I grabbed my phone to turn the notifications off, and that’s when I saw I had a new email from Nick.
