He stared a moment at the wide cot he used during the warm summer nights, then fetched a thick blanket to cover it. He lay down on the cot, but found he couldn’t rest, not with Nathaniel’s tantalizing body dancing behind his eyes. A smile curled his lips as he indulged in several fantasies, one where Nathaniel let himself be taken right there on the balcony. Nathaniel’s moans of pleasure when Taden entered him were intoxicating.


Taden lazily stroked himself in anticipation of the coming night, but grew restless as time passed and Nathaniel didn’t come. He frowned as stars appeared overhead. Had something happened to delay Nathaniel? Had he changed his mind?
