Would picking a quarrel work? I shook my head. I wouldn’t be able to sustain any decent level of indignation. “Uh…it took me some time to get used to the Josie’s controls.” I ignored his frown, a fearsome expression for those who didn’t know him better.


He, in turn, ignored my excuse. Are you going to tell me what you did?
