The Magic Returns

Thomas smiled and dug is fingers into Brad’s fur, rubbing and petting at it. “Mmm. You’re so soft.”


Brad chirped again, then rubbed his cheek against Thomas, nearly shoving him over. Thomas laughed and started scratching behind Brad’s ears. “Is that what you wanted?”


Somewhat to Thomas’ surprise, Brad began to purr. He stopped instantly, looking startled, but when Thomas laughed and started petting him again, he began purring again. “I didn’t know cougars could purr.”
