His gaze went back to the window. He turned the crank and the window popped open. There was no screen, so he had a pretty good view of outside. It was still pouring, but he didn+IBk-t see any flashes of lightning nor hear any thunder. The scraping could have been a tree branch, he guessed, blowing against the window in the wind that accompanied the rain. And when he spotted a nearby tree, Kel nodded with satisfaction.

He closed the window and left the bathroom.3

Kel stayed plastered to Harry+IBk-s side even after they returned to the living room, looping his fingers into the belt loops on Harry+IBk-s jeans.
