“Who’s Ivan?” Ben asked.
“Turns out this is a good news/bad news situation,” Kat said. “The good news is that guy isn’t Igor’s father. The bad news, well, that’s actually threefold. One: you’re naked.”
“We had a water fight. I thought the AC and wet clothes wouldn’t be good for us.”
“Ah. And your underwear?”
Iggy had on boxers, at least, though that didn’t seem to do much to soothe angry Ivan, who kept pointing at them and yelling.
“Sometimes, I don’t bother. You know how often we change clothes and shower in the course of a day here. If I put on clean underwear every time, I’d need a thousand pairs.”
“Sure.” Kat didn’t seem to be buying it.
“What’s the rest of the bad news?”
“Well, when Iggy said he was in love, he didn’t mean with you.” Kat took Ivan by the hand and brought him forward. “Iggy already has a boyfriend. Ivan. And now, I think you’re going to have to explain that water fight and underwear thing to him.” 35
