Within seconds they were.

“You’re up, huh?”

Just the sound of Milo’s voice made Tom Alan smile. You’re different.

“Oh! Shit,” Milo said. “Let me start over, I was supposed to say, Moshi, moshi, Tom Alan-kun.”

“Impressive.”

“Eh, I looked it up online.”

“You’re up early. It’s like 6:17 A.M. over there.”

“Precisely 6:17 A.M.”

“Yeah. I looked that up—the time difference.”

“Keeping tabs on me?”

“Maybe a little. How come you’re awake?”

“How come you are? It’s late for early practicers like us.”
