Sheamus sighed. As much as he hated the paparazzi, their presence signaled that the crowd had been correct. The person he was looking at in pink and blue was indeed Joey, the gender bending pop star who was currently all the rage thanks to their most recent pop single called “Forced Magick.” Sheamus didn’t like the song, since it was clearly a rip-off of Prince and Bowie—but his opinion didn’t matter in the music world. Many music critics said Joey used magic to transform their body; many others merely said it was a magic show trick gimmick that outshone the songs; others said they were a clear incarnation of Egyptian Goddess Isis, and they were putting the music scene together piece by piece. None of it really didn’t matter, though, because the sales were still there.

And where there was Joey, Jake—the real target—was most likely close by.
