“There’s something else you need to be aware of.”

“What’s that?”

Benjamin hesitated for a moment, but he couldn’t come up with a way to soften the blow. Eric stared at him expectantly, but he needed a bit of time to gather his thoughts. Thus, he lifted the teapot off the tabletop and refilled his and Eric’s teacups. He was grateful that Eric wasn’t being pushy, but he couldn’t postpone the conversation indefinitely.

“I died when I was fifteen.”

“I know that already.”
