Chapter 45

Ryan pulled out his phone and called up the picture. He held it up so Wally could see.

Ted said, “We agreed: no cameras.”

“Also, this was out of context,” Ryan added. “You paid her to harass me.”

Wally’s face scrunched up; he sat up straight. “I did not! I just paid her for a lap dance!”

“So the tip was for the harassment, or…?” Ted glared, face hot with anger.

Wally reached for a half-empty bottle of vodka on the coffee table.

Ted snatched it away. “Admit it. Admit that you set us up in a pathetic attempt to undermine my claim on MAC Superior.”

“Fuck you, Ted, you drink more than I do, lately,” Wally said with a pout.

“Really? That’s what you’re concerned about?” Ted could’ve smacked him with the bottle

As if he heard the thought, Ryan reached out and ever-so-gently pried the bottle out of Ted’s hand.
