Chapter 78

“Guys…” They turned to see Elaine standing there with her customer. “No PDAs until after we close.”

Lyle turned red, moving quickly behind the counter to write up her customer. He’d barely finished—and had her costume bagged up to take with her for another late Valentine’s Day party—when Joseph came out with the couple he’d been helping. They had costumes, too. Obviously for Mardi Gras as they had put together bits and pieces that were green, gold, and purple. Lyle resisted commenting on their choices as he wrote them up while Joseph bagged them and took them to the reservations rack in the back of the show room.
