What does that mean for Mica? What kind of bond would she have? Who knows? Ollie says it’s different from individual to individual and not to worry about it, but it’s easier said than done. Mica clearly has some sort of connection to Randy, and Wes knows that it’s the first step, but he is concerned. They’re too young for that kind of commitment.
Even though he was only five years older when he met Ollie, they immediately got on suspiciously well. Three short years later their bond settled so it must have begun months, at most, after they met each other. Mica isn’t even talking about it. Moreover, Wes met Ollie in circumstances much more unpleasant than childhood friends. Still, there’s a difference because they were both adults and Mica’s his daughter.
He’s not talking about meddling, Wes completely agrees with Ollie that it should be Mica’s choice and only her choice. Bonding isn’t something that one can dictate. But Wes worries. For what? Because of what? Those are less defined.
