Chapter 6

I stopped kissing the man and turned to see Robbie pulling up his shorts and marching away from us. I’d been so lost in passion that I’d completely forgotten he’d been there. “You guysclearlyprefer each other so you can fucking haveeach other. I never liked either of you anyway.” He stormed off farther away.

“Robbie, wait!” Yet I couldn’t seem to detach myself from the man. I was conflicted between feeling sorry for Robbie—even though I knew he was just upset and likely didn’t mean what he’d said—and feeling super horny for the stranger.

“Eh, fuck him.” The man continued as if he didn’t have a care in the world. Robbie had simply been a warmup toy for him, it seemed. I was the one he’d wanted all along, and it made me feel both awesome and guilty.

“But…he’s my friend,” I said in a small voice, yet I still didn’t want this moment to end.
