“I’ll take it as a yes.” Liam snorted after he made sure that Milo didn’t require medical assistance. Just in time, their food was served by a smiling blonde girl that didn’t seem bothered by the huge trays she had to carry to their table.
Her blue eyes lingered for a second too long on Milo who didn’t seem to notice. She asked if she could bring them something else, her whole body subconsciously facing Milo. The boy simply shook his head, not even raising his eyes from the steak. Waitress’s enthusiasm deflated after that and she wished them a nice meal before turning around and leaving. As the last effort, she shook her hips a little too much to be considered normal, again drawing no attention from Milo. He looked up from his steak to look at Liam, who giggled and shook his head. Milo titled his head in silent question, but the other just motioned for him to eat.
“Let’s eat.” Liam smiled at the small cheer the other produced and took a sip of his wine.
