Liam cancelled his wedding when his fiancé Jasper ran away with his best friend. “I’ll find a job,” Milo replied but he didn’t sound so sure of himself.


A waitress perked up at that, her two ponytails jumping up slightly in excitement.


“We’re actually in need of a food runner,” she said with a wide smile on her face and just at this moment Milo truly saw her. She was pale, had cute freckles, and an adorable tooth gap. His eyes widened but his throat refused to make a sound. Liam took over instinctively.


“How can we find out more?” Liam asked.


“If you’re interested, you can ask the manager for an application form. Say that Emily sent you,” she explained before quickly picking up the bill and leaving as she heard her name being called from the counter area.
