Liam knew it was dangerous. He knew giving into Milo could never end well and he wanted to let that be known out loud, but he simply couldn’t speak. Milo looked at him, held onto him and they naturally started navigating their bodies towards each other. The younger man used slight pressure to lower the other’s head while Liam pressed his hand against the back of the other’s head, helping him rise a little. The atmosphere shifted once they were close enough for their breaths to mingle. Milo closed his eyes first. Liam hated every fiber of his being as he started lowering his eyelids as well.
Suddenly, the phone rang on the side table. They both jumped up. Milo quickly rose, head-butting Liam on the way, and sprinted towards his phone. Liam jumped as far away from Milo’s nest as possible, landing hard on the floor. He felt his head throbbing from the impact.
