“You’ve changed too,” he replied after a few moments of silence.
“I don’t think I did, I still can’t help but jump into my old habits without a second of hesitation,” Liam said. He looked tired for a second, like the weight of the world was on his shoulders.
“You’ve changed,” Jasper reassured him firmly.
“I couldn’t get you out of my mind when I was away. Everywhere I went, I saw a ghost of you,” Liam confessed. He shifted closer, his whole body facing Jasper. He had a daring air around him.
Jasper gulped, feeling heat spreading through his bones with familiar desperation at the sight in front of him.
Like a stabilizer, the second Milo was gone, they started gravitating towards each other.
“I wanted to take the first available plane and fly to you. I’d come to you if I knew where you were,” Jasper said. He shifted too, insignificantly closer.
