With Milo’s departure, Daniel was ready to address the issue that nagged at his conscience for months.
“Liam, can we discuss something before we start?” Daniel eyed the tea in front of him. If it was up to him, they’d be drinking vodka but beggars couldn’t be choosers and he had to suffer through this conversation sober.
“Sure thing. What’s up, Danny?”
Daniel looked at his friend and tried to read through his open and welcoming demeanor. Liam never addressed the wedding situation in any way. It’d been weeks. They talked, interacted, and worked together as if nothing changed. Honestly, Daniel was at his wits’ end with how much it affected him. He needed some sort of closure and after talking to Jazz, he knew the healing conversation was the way to go.
“Can we talk about the wedding?” Daniel asked.
Liam didn’t seem thrown-off. “What about the wedding?”
