Chapter 17

“I feel like Mexican. But we can go out and pick up dinner, if you want. There’s a nice little restaurant a few blocks away.”

Andrew glanced back at him, an unfamiliar burn in his dark eyes. “Mexican it is then. I’d rather stay in. I don’t really feel like sharing you tonight.”

Levi swallowed. His first impulse was still to resist. He’d had the walls up for too long to simply ignore the habit. But almost as soon as the impulse hit him, it disappeared. Being able to smile at Andrew was one of the best feelings he’d ever experienced.

“I’d rather stay in, too. It’ll be easier to kiss you when the urge overtakes me.” He bent his head and brushed his lips across Andrew’s.

Before he could pull back, Andrew’s hand had returned to his nape, holding him close as he returned the kiss. He didn’t attempt to deepen the caress, but his mouth lingered, soft and willing, longer than Levi anticipated.
