“You’re wrong.” I wadded my blanket in my lap to hide my arousal and pushed him away. “I-I have a mate.”

He smiled, which gave his dark features a sardonic look. “A mate? Matthew? You called out his name while I fucked you.”

My skin crawled. Had I given him an advantage he could exploit? “Matthew would keel haul both of us if he heard you say that.”

“Keel haul?”

“It’s a riverboat term. And it’s not something you’d want done.”

Raven rose to wash himself, leaving me to ignore the ghostly feel of his big member inside me. When were back in our blankets, he snuffed the lantern and spoke into the sudden darkness.
