Chapter 12

Dinner at the cabin sounds fantastic. When? What do I need to bring? And I hope you enjoy thinking about me in the shower. I know I did :-)

As expected, Sunday and Monday are extremely busy with work. On Monday, I steal a few minutes between prep meetings to sort out my phone situation, and since my warranty has expired, I decide to buy a new one. I don’t have time to go to the store, so I end up ordering one online, resigning myself to live without my personal phone until Friday.

The trip is insane but productive. We spend twelve hours a day getting the project back on track, and when I return to the hotel at night, I have the energy for only a shower and room service before crashing for the night.

Viggo and I exchange a few short emails, agreeing on the details for Friday—bring dessert if you want it, I don’t bake—but nothing more than that.
