“We have a date.”
“Tomorrow. We have a date tomorrow, and it involves dinner, nothing else.”
“It’s Easter Sunday, and I remember being promised a kiss.”
“I’ve kissed you already. Now, get out of my room.” He turned a little to push Jason out of his bed but stilled when his hand connected with a naked shoulder. Warm, soft skin over defined muscles. He should take his hand away. In his mind, he pulled away as if burned, but in reality, his palm was still resting against Jason’s bare skin.
“Oh, I know you have, but it was a bonus, not part of the deal.”
Tom didn’t like the glee in Jason’s voice. “Jason, it’s not…I’m not…I can’t be with you. Could you please get out of my room and leave me alone?”
Jason didn’t leave. If anything, he moved even closer. His naked body was flush against Tom’s, with only the thin fabric of his T-shirt and boxers between them.
“No, I don’t think I can.” The hot air of Jason’s whisper ghosted over Tom’s neck.
