“Please, take me to
bed.”
Paul didn’t seem shocked
by Trevor’s words, but pulled back and looked deep into his eyes.
“You sure? ‘Cause this is for real, you know. Once we take this
step as far as I’m concerned there’s no going back.”
Trevor swallowed the lump
that had formed in his throat. “Yes, I’m sure.” He dashed away the
moisture that was beginning to pool in his eyes. He wasn’t going to
cry at a time like this. Though tears might be appropriate, even
warranted, he was determined not to come across as weak and
overly-emotional.
