You and Jim, yeah, but…but that means nothing without you.” He kissed Sasha, gentle lips pressing lovingly, desperate to somehow make this right again.


Sasha’s hips bucked up from the bed, and it made both of them gasp.


“Don’t tell me to stop. Don’t push me away,” Nathan said pleadingly, stroking Sasha’s face again and pushing his fingers back through that too soft hair. “I’m going to help you because I love you, and it is a privilegeto love you. I’m the one who doesn’t deserve you, baby, but if I’m gonna be lucky enough to be granted you then I am not going to let you go. Now, last time I’m gonna ask this…” He kissed Sasha’s lips once more. “Do you trust me?”


Finally, when Nathan pulled up again, all he saw in those wet blue eyes was love and devotion. “I trust you.”
