I CALL YOU HANDSOME

When they arrived at the penthouse, they were still enveloped by silence. Michy kept ignoring Azren like a plague, and the latter was too tired of the idol's cold treatment, so he decided to shut his mouth as well.

His body felt so sore because he had been standing for hours during the fan signing event, and all he wanted to do right now was sleep. But, he was forced to stop his steps in the living room because the idol had stopped walking as well.

Azren blinked confusedly, but then the idol suddenly turned around and looked up at him.

"You can wear the new clothes freely, Ren. Those clothes were yours, so you can wear them without paying."

It was the nice Michy again, and the demon was speechless. Why did the idol suddenly change again?

"Are you sure, Mich? You won't change your mind tomorrow, will you?"

Azren couldn't help but feel alert. It was the nice Michy who was giving him a green light, but when Michy turned into his evil side again, the idol probably would change his mind and give him a red card instead.

Azren was not stupid. He would learn to know about Michy's pattern now.

"I won't change my mind. I promise!"

The idol was giggling while declaring his promise, but Azren wasn't convinced at all. He still furrowed his brows as he continued to stare at the idol. Their expressions contrasted with each other. Azren looked like a kidnapper, while Michy looked like an innocent kid targeted by kidnappers.

Not wanting to be fooled by the strange idol, Azren suddenly got a brilliant idea. He immediately ran toward his room, leaving Michy blinked in his direction confusedly.

But, before Michy could question, the blonde had come back to the living room once again. He didn't come back empty-handed as there was a piece of paper and a pen in his hands.

The idol was puzzled by the sight. "What will you do with the paper and the pen, Ren?" He asked confusedly.

Azren didn't immediately answer as he put down the paper on the coffee table and brought himself to kneel beside the table.

"Let's write an agreement!" The demon exclaimed as he started writing on the paper.

The exclaim confused Michy even more, but he didn't question verbally as he just followed Azren's action by kneeling next to the blonde.

His blue eyes fixated on the paper and found some writings on it. He read the ugly handwritings one by one, and not long after, he laughed out loud.

The laughter made Azren look up from the paper and frown at the idol instead. "Why are you laughing?" He asked innocently.

Michy stopped laughing and looked at the blonde in amusement. "You didn't want me to break my promise, so you wrote a written agreement? You're so innocent, Ren! So cute!"

Azren blinked confusedly at the humans before replying, "You've changed your mind a lot, Mich. I don't want to take any risks."

Michy was still smiling, and he looked down at the paper again. "I understand," he replied. "The agreement looks good. Where do I need to sign?"

Azren didn't expect the idol to agree so easily, so he was quite surprised. He then turned his gaze to the paper again and realized that he hadn't finished writing the agreement.

"I'll finish writing it first," the blonde stated as he continued writing the agreement.

Michy just nodded and let Azren do what he wanted. The demon looked so innocent, and it seemed Michy was entertained by the naiveté.

Not long after, the blonde finally finished the agreement, and he looked up at the human again.

"You can sign here," the demon said while pointing at the bottom left corner of the paper. "I've signed here, so after you sign there, this agreement is finally legal."

Michy just listened in silence as his eyes traced the paper again. Indeed, he could see Azren's signature in the lower right corner of the paper.

"Your signature looks cute, Ren. Just like you."

Michy was so casual when he made that statement, and he even managed to sign on the paper as instructed.

On the other hand, Azren froze on the spot. 'Why does this human keep calling me cute? No one in the demon world has ever called me cute. And, demons shouldn't be called cute, right?'

Azren felt so dumb because he was flustered when the human called him cute. "Don't ever call me cute again!" He scolded the blue-eyed idol.

Michy, who just finished signing on the paper, flinched a little because of the blonde's sudden exclaim.

Azren had always been calm and composed since he became his assistant two days ago, but suddenly the taller man snapped at him. Michy couldn't help but feel surprised.

"Uh, you don't like it when I call you cute?" The idol asked innocently. "I'm sorry. I don't mean to make you upset or anything. I promise I won't ever call you cute again!"

The nice Michy looked panicked. His blue eyes, which were slightly rounded, even gleamed with tears. It seemed that the young idol was frightened by Azren's sudden scolding.

Azren only realized that he was quite harsh with the young boy, and now it was his turn to panic.

"No no no! You are not wrong, Michy! I'm the one who's being too sensitive!"

Azren didn't want to lose his job now. If he offended the nice Michy, then probably the evil Michy would take revenge on him tomorrow.

"I'm indeed in the wrong, Ren!" The idol insisted. "Men normally won't like it if other people call them cute, right? But I didn't mean to offend you. I just think that your signature is cute because it looks like a duck!" The nice Michy was the real innocent. He even pointed at Azren's signature as he explained, "Look! The 'Z' here is the one that makes your signature looks like a duck!

The young demon looked down at his signature, and indeed, the way he wrote the 'Z' letter resembled a duck. Azren couldn't help but chuckle at the realization.

"You aren't angry anymore, right?"

He could hear the idol question him again, and he looked up at the youth while smiling.

"If you don't like to be called cute, how about I call you handsome instead, Ren?"

And Michy really knew how to make his smile widen.
