4 Diagon Alley

After about an hours drive Eric and Harry were outside of the leaky caldron, as they entered the pub they walked through the groups of oddly dressed people and old dusty tables all the way to the bar where there stood the bartender, a middle age blading man with a slightly hunched back.

"Ello there and who might you be, don't think I've ever seen you around here before" the bartender said with a thick accent.

"We're first years" Eric said with a stern tone

"Oh I see so you'll be needing to get new equipment then I'd guess."

"Yes we will" said Eric.

"Then follow me" with that Eric, Harry and mark followed the bartender out back to the dustbins, then the bartender pointed at one of the bins and said "three up from the lid and then two across" then he poked the brick three times, and within a matter of second an archway had appeared, and behind it lay an abundance of shops for weird and wonderful things all to do with magical day to day needs for witches and wizards.

"Off you go then" the bartender said in a inpatient voice.

Then with all that sorted the group headed out for the shopping spree of a lifetime, but first, to gringotts.

When entering the bank there eyes laid apon the short pointy nosed goblins that worked there, they all scurried around doing bits and bobs all around the bank.

Walking inside they went to one of the counters, there they converted 20,000 galleons for each him and Harry from muggle money, which was the most that could be converted per person at one time, and then left to do some shopping.

Two hours later they had bought all of the equipment except for their wands from the equipment list.

While going down diagon alley they spotted a slightly decrepit looking shop titled ollivanders, reckoning it was a wand shop, they went in.

Inside they found an almost insane looking man who was polishing off some wands.

"Good day to you" said the man while looking up "my name is ollivanders pleasure to make your acquaintance"

"The pleasure is all our own" Eric said with a slight bow of his head.

After the introductions Harry had his moment with the wands, and then it was Eric's turn, unsurprisingly it was uneventful, and in the end Harry ended up with his canonically accurate wand and Eric got a 12 and a half inch dragon heartstring wand pliable, all in all they were both happy with what they got.

After a day of fun, shopping and learning new things it was time to go home.

For the past month and a half Eric and Harry had been working around the clock to improve themselves before the beginning of the school year, with a tripling in the exercises and a lot of studying on the new books of magic, they are just below a Hermione level of knowledge on it and their exercise had worked wonders.

Harry was now very strong though no where near Eric, he could lift very heavy things especially for his age and he had started to attract the attention of women. Eric had also gained a lot from the exercises and from the two thousand push ups he could do at the age of nine he could now do five thousand of them, from the fifty miles he could run previously he can do one hundred miles, and he could instead of the weight of a small car bench press the weight equivalent to a small van.

All in all those one and a half months did wonders for the two.

Now they only had one month left until they would be going to Hogwarts so all they had left to do now was cram, exercise and wait, and then they would be entering their first year in a magical school.

-It has been a month and it was the day they were going to leave to go to kings cross station so they could take the train to Hogwarts, everything and everyone is ready to go.-

"Come on Eric and Harry we should get going now" mark said from downstairs.

"Ok we're coming" Eric said.

They got in the mowrolys family car and set of to kings cross. While inside kings cross looking for where platform nine and three quarters was their group ran into some people talking about said station so they went over to ask about it, the people gladly offered to help in showing the where to go and what they would have to do to get there.

Going through the wall to get to platform nine and three quarters they saw a bright red steam train that looked ready and rearing to go so Eric and Harry said goodbye to mark and headed onto the train.

Finding themselves a compartment they sat down and relaxed, while doing this they discussed what Hogwarts might be like.

About a quarter of the way through the ride they got offered some treats from the trolley they both declined because they didn't feel hungry.

Later on in the trip a fluffy haired girl appeared at the door of their compartment door.

"Have you you seen a toad anywhere, because Neville lost his?" Hermione asked.

"No we haven't" Eric said to her and then looking straight back towards Harry saying, "anyway Harry I want to show you a new spell that I learnt."

"Magic, go on I want to see it", Hermione said in an exited voice.

"Ok here I go" Eric said with a smile "oculus repairo."

With that Harry's slightly chipped glasses repaired instantly.

"Oh that's nice, all of the magic worked for me as well" Hermione said in an arrogant sounding ,although not purposely, voice,"oh, and you two should probably get changed into you school clothes as well."

After realising that she was right Harry and Eric got changed in preparation for the end of their train trip.

A few minutes later the train stopped and as people started to depart a voice could be heard booming through the air.
