Chapter- 3 (edited)

zero quickly dashed towards the monster, landing a flurry of slashes towards its left arm, and one slash towards its chest. Dealing a decent amount of damage to the monster, before quickly backing away, before the monsters attack could touch him fully.

"Clang"

A loud 'thump' sound echoed throughout the surrounding forrestery, seeing zero flying across the street where he attacked the monster, but luckily he blocked the strike taking only 12 points of damage.

He quickly decided to attack, once again going through multiple simulations on where the monster would go, each step it would take and even down to the way it was 'breathing', after making the nessesary calculations for his next attack, once again attacking the monster this time, aiming for the legs joints.

But the monster, now annoyed that it got attacked, the alpha predator around this area, yet a small creature dared to challenge it, was vexing. Even if it had low intelligence, it was still a very territorial beast and prideful creature, instead of striking the robot this time, it used it's fire breath to burn the little creature down.

Zero not realizing in time, was met with intense heat towards himself, although he couldn't feel pain, his muscle fibers were going haywire, quickly burning due to the intense lava like heat the monster produced, zero never expected the monster to be a 'unique variant'.

Unique variants could posses additional abilities than in their regular tier, they could have elemental like abilities, Increased strength, enhanced speed and even enhanced defense and more. But it this case zero already realized he was dealing with a small strength and fire variant which is even rarer than single attribute varients.

Now realizing what his research on human 'Luck' was, he surmised he was in the unlucky category. His next decision was to escape and recover, since he did have a superior edge in raw speed, and the thick forrestery to help him escape as well.

After mapping a route of a safe location, he dashed out of the road towards the Forrest, but the beast realised this and quickly tried to cut zero off, but zero was far quicker, and left the seen.

The monster tried catching the little creature that dared to attack it, but realized it was constantly getting stuck on trees, and the creature was now almost out of sight.

The lurker quickly retreated, now frustrated, roared heavily, shaking the very earth itself, you could feel its anger rising.

Zero now almost towards his location he marked, he made his way towards it, scanning the area once more just incase, he was heavily injured during the last fight while losing an arm via the heat with a greatly injured face and badly burnt exoskeleton, not going the way he calculated via the monster being a variant.

He felt what was now he considered 'anger', an emotion he understood via his research on humane emotions. Then zero quickly shook off the oncoming thoughts he had, fully dedicating his time in recovering, which he estimated would take 5 hours at most.

" Father, can I really become human." zero said to himself. Wondering if he can truly complete this task.

After waiting for the estimated time, and standing up, zero realized he had gotten a bit more powerful than last time, his stats had increased impressively and he had even gotten a new resistance to 'fire' and 'heat'. The first one being level 5 and the latter being level 10.

Zero now felt compelled to challenge the beast again, for some reason he had to do it, he didn't know why himself, just a feeling or his objective, but what he did know, was that he had to exterminate it personally.

Zero quickly decided to find the beast once more to destroy it, he managed to stick a small tracker on the beast during the small first series of attacks he landed, just incase such a scenario would have happened.

After dashing through the Forrest even faster this time, due to his first passive playing a large role, the beast was not further away from the last location they fought, but this time was stationary. Zero once again decided to plan the most efficient way of destroying the creature, but no, this time he wanted it to suffer. He decided with the second option, to reopen the old wounds from earlier he inflicted upon the beast.

Zero quickly dashed towards the beast while not alerting it, and stabbed his blade within the wounds, waking the beast in the process dealing significant amounts of damage this time.

The lurker now furious wondering what could have dared to attack it again for the day.

The lurker quickly realized it was the little creature that dared to do it earlier, the beast then wasted no time, and decided to use his fire breath once more but this time zero was hardly affected, but he still suffered some amount of damage, he saw his resistance rising slowly the amount of heat going through his body.

Zero slashed the best deeply on his chest once more.

"Slash! Slash"

could be heard, of flesh ripping apart, zero then maneuvered himself around the large creature, then slashing towards its back.

"ROAARR!!!"

The beast roared towards the pesky creature that was actually defeating it, thinking to actually retreat for oncemin to existence, the first time it ever thought of doing so, it retreating was out of the question, since it doesn't even want to do so, but it had to for another day to take revenge.

Zero now wanting to finish off the creature, decided to slash its knee joints and ankle joints, to incapacitate the monster. Now falling on its chest, it screeched out loud not wanting to die, a final cry of horror escaped its lips, before zero raised his sword to decapitate it.

Zero now looked at the beast, before stabbing his sword within it, waiting for the sword to consume creature. The sword now wriggling and stitching in the beasts flesh absorbing its Caracas, the sword was now far heavier and did a bit more damage, it's weight now equating to a little over 600 pounds, zero's swords now finished with absorbing the beast. zero himself, quickly headed back into the woods to retreat for the night, to recover once more and to read the benefits, zero now realizing he needed to train techniques with the sword as well, to be more efficient during combat.

"Commander we still have no sightings of the robot sir, it completely escaped our grasps." the solider reported.

"Of course you useless nounces wouldn't find him, *sigh*, head back to the base NOW!, and await further instructions." the commander said before hanging up.
