Drystan was almost certain that the rescue operation was going perfectly. But then again, a lot of things didn't go as planned ever since Meir's kidnapping.

He'd expected an assault from the Viatrix clan right after he'd declared war with them. For nearly a decade, he'd been carrying out an undercover mission that aimed to destroy them completely – and to exact revenge. He'd conducted thorough research and in-depth investigation in order to fulfill his goal – infiltrating restricted places included. But unfortunately for him, some of his tactics were outmaneuvered after the Isis family took the frontline all of the sudden.

'Just when I thought I finally had those bastards. Damn it.' 

Drystan didn't have much information about them. Worse, he'd just recently learned who Iorwerth was.
