A Post Apocalyptic World (pt. 2)

By the foot of the staircase, a small projection emerged at the side, indicating a small storeroom located right underneath the staircase. Nancy walked towards it and found the handle hanging out exclusively. She grabbed it and pulled the small door open. A strange expression emerged on her face, surprised yet again.

"I should get used to weird shit already, right?" Nancy muttered, making Marco come up to look for himself.

As his line of sight coincided with the insides of the storeroom, the colors on his face disappeared. A dynamic equilibrium had been established as soon as Nancy had opened the little door, and the white steam of the interconnecting temperatures had emerged all around them.

A storeroom. A cold storeroom. A cold storeroom as a blood bank. No words could describe what they were looking at.
