Postulates Of A Deal (pt. 1)

Nancy slowly retreated from his arms and stepped back. Her arm was now on his shoulder from his nape.

"It's okay, Samuel," Nancy reassured him. "You don't need to waste your time thinking about useless people."

Samuel quietly looked at her. He had always received comforts like this, so he wasn't sure how to react. He had never reacted to comforts before as well. He never felt the need to react to comforts either. However, Nancy's anticipating gaze made him want to say something.

"Um," Samuel muttered under his breath.

"Um, what? Say something." Nancy said.

"Something." Samuel looked down.

"Something other than something," Nancy complained.

"Elaborate, please."

"Say what you feel."

Samuel narrowed his eyes slightly, in utmost confusion as he paused to think about it deeply. What was he even feeling?

"You might hate me for what I feel," Samuel said.

"I hate you already," Nancy replied.
