Death

"No one can understand the depths of matters before experiencing it for themselves. We cannot understand death because we have never experienced it." Nancy read the lines of the journal. "Until we experience it, we must let our time torment the rest of our lives. This is what being an immortal felt. Absolute and eternal."

Strangely, Sebastian was standing amidst the many black-dressed people, all facing the coffin in front of them. It was strange. All of these people present knew that death was a part of the cycle. Why were they wasting their energy and shedding uncontrollable tears?

Sebastian found it hard to express his emotions to begin with. On a day such as this, where someone equivalent to his parents had just passed away, and his entire family was sobbing, he couldn't express sorrow. He didn't even know if he felt sorrowful.
