Nancy suddenly raised her head to look at him, "Then let me die with you!"

Samuel's eyes widened at her response. He could never have thought she would say something like this in a million years. He reached for her arms, turning her to face him.

"Nancy," He called her softly, "How could you say that?"

Nancy glared at him, "And what about you?" Her tears flowed down her cheeks, "How can you tell me you want to die and then expect me to live?" She asked, being as direct as possible.

"You cannot limit your life to me."

"You can't limit your life to that Goddamn Bradley either!"

Samuel's eyes widened in surprise. "I never limited my life to Sir." He said, looking down. "But if you think I do, then be it." He stood up, turning around to walk toward the kitchen.
