Amy frowned, "Don't say that! You did your best." 

Marco shook his head, "I know I did. But you know what mistakes I'm talking about," He uttered, "You know them well enough." 

Amy narrowed her eyes in confusion. 

"The outcome has been good regardless of my poor behavior. I must be favored by the universe or something," Marco chuckled as he exhaled, "But I do have regrets, and I'm willing to rectify my ways. It would've been even better if I had been slightly more empathetic in the earlier year of this investigation. I seriously messed up, yet you ignored it and cheered on me. So, you deserve my gratitude." 

"But you said you have to make sacrifices for things to work out," Amy pouted, "Like, I know what mistakes you're talking about. It's the one where you took Nancy to the labs, right? She was supposed to be kept away from danger, but you took her toward danger. Just imagine if you hadn't taken her-"
