Greyson

Great.

Of Course she didn't let me just walk away, somehow and I wouldn't want to explain…. She got me to shift and walk with her and the little boy. Forently I have clothes hidden close by, at least I still had my dignity. The boy, whose name was Shane, was asleep. So me at this mystery woman had all the time to talk. Not that I wanted to have small talk with her.

Still not knowing her name, I scanned over her features. She looked around in her mid thirties, around five-foot six with raven black hair and pale almost vampierish skin. Not seeing any bold eye colors she probably wasn't a vampire. With dark brown doe-like eyes, her eyes reflected their surroundings making them look black as the night sky.

Her hair was shiny and styled, not looking like a sister or a nun. Looking around her mid-thirties. Maybe it was a part-time job? Probably not, people who serve the church usually stay for life. A cover maybe.

The woman was walking to the point I was showing her, apparently where 'the twins' are.

I continued my curious stare, examining her trying to figure her out.

"You're staring." She hissed, shooting me an annoyed glare.

I scoffed. "You're accusing me, I think my staring is allowed" Allowing a hiss of my own to slip in.

We continued to walk to the point where these so-called twins blacked out. The walk was not long but for some reason we slowed our pace. My mouth tastes vile like something crawled in and died, a migraine slowly showing its signs.

We weren't just walking slowly, she was doing something. She wasn't human after all, but I still couldn't wrap my head around it. Then it stopped, the vile taste, the migraine, literally everything. It's just gone.

"We're here." Was all she said.

The darkness slowly turned grey as smoke, I opened my eyes engulfing myself in this world full of smoke. Almost like the sea, I was flouting, swaying my arms and legs just to stay in one spot.

Then I heard something…then again, then again! Though I wasn't scared, I was calm almost even. Slowly identifying the sound, it was banging, no its like stomping through leaves as well as snow in a pattern that isn't too docile nor slow.

Soon I started to drift, the sound like a gentle song put my mind at ease.

Then..I fell.

The twins were fine…but not fine at the same time. Physically

There, just in a sleep-like form, their subconscious was the problem. It was awaking, at first I was happy and proud. Then dread dawned on me that this may make them have a harder life. Either way they were going through this, if they wanted it to happen or not.

That still left me with the elephant in the room, or should I say wolf.

"Well greyson, do you know what this means?" I mused.

He thought and looked towards his feet, "This is all my fault?" he responded, still staring at his feet.

I sighed, "Yes and No."

He looked up, he grew taller so looking at me he still had to move his head.

"Let me explain." was simply all I said
