"Which bed is the patient in?" asked Tao Zhijie.
Xie Wanying's gaze fell upon little Yangyang sitting on the sofa in the room and said, "Patient in bed 20."
It was his mother. The doctor sister was about to say something about his mother. Yangyang's little heart was thumping rapidly, and he nervously touched his chest with his small hand.
Tao Zhijie had little Yangyang sit down and allowed his junior sister to speak, "Go ahead."
If the junior sister had to deliver bad news, she definitely wouldn't say it in front of the child; it must be good news.
"Senior Tao, can we do another echocardiogram for the patient in bed 20? I suspect her condition cannot rule out a cardiac source. Some of her clinical indicators don't quite match liver ascites," said Xie Wanying. "The inferior vena cava angiography should be done too. Even if she is to be discharged, it's only when we are clear on the issue and the medication matches the cause that the patient can truly start to recover."
