Kendra's dreams have always been to complete her education, get a good job (her dream job), and settle down with "the man whose missing ribs she has". Little did she know that her unforgettable encounter with the man she deemed heartless was the end of her perfect going plan, and beginning of a bitter sweet life. She didn't go to work the next day because she needed to prepare for school. After everyone had gone out, she brought out her phone and called Iyke. 


"How did you do it?" She asked him while folding her clothes into a bag 


"Do what?" He had been waiting for her call since yesterday. 


"Convince my parents and got them to trust you?" She stopped what she as doing in order to be attentive. 


"I just told them I was touched by how passionate you were to further your education and I have more than enough money to to take care of my family and your school fees..." 


"What? You have family? You are married?" She shouted without caring if her nosy neighbours could hear her. 


"That is not for you to know. Your business is to prepare for school and start receiving lectures that I paid for." He said nonchalantly. 


"Iyke what the h....!" He hung up before she could complete her statement. 


"This son of a.....!" She breathed before she continued.
