Chapter 6: The Fight

William POV

Rebecca ran away from the stage and my first instinct was to go after her to find out if she was alright.

Rose, Rebecca's family, her mate, and I quickly chase after her. When we reached her bedroom, her door was locked.

I shouted at her door, saying. "Rebecca, babe, please open the door. If not talk to me."

"Leave me alone!" Rebecca yelled.

I wanted to say something back to her, however, my sister cut me off by saying. "Everyone, let's just give her space for now. She needs some time to clear her head."

I sighed in response and turn my body away from her and I noticed that Blake was standing there with a sad expression.

At that moment, all I could think was the hurt that Blake had given to her after he rejected her, and I thought to myself that he did not deserve Rebecca to be his soulmate.

My wolf was fuming in anger, wanting to be released in our wolf form. I clenched my fists to cool him down and made my way to Blake.

"How could you do that to your mate! She was your fucking mate, and you do that to her. How could the Moon goddess bless you with her! You are truly the worst bastard I've ever met!" I shouted at him.

My rage overtook me, and I punched him several times on his face which I have left some pretty bad bruises on his face which I fucking don't give a shit about it.

Ryan and my sister managed to stop me from punching him by pulling me back.

"Have you ever thought of your feelings when you rejected your mate?" When Ryan and my sister stopped me from hitting him, I clenched my fists and spit on him.

Suddenly, one of Rebecca's brothers, Jake, stood in between us. He looked between me and Blake, saying. "What the hell are you talking about? What do you mean by rejecting your mate?"

"It’s been so long yet you guys have no fucking clue of what is going on here?" I smirked back at Blake and turned my head to face everyone.

"Tsk tsk, your Alpha has been hiding his secret well, hasn’t he?" Everyone shook their heads and I fake a pity expression.

"Alpha Blake, what is Alpha William talking about? Because I feel like we are missing out on something important regarding your mate that we should know." Jake stared at Blake while questioning him.

Blake shot me that look that kind of tells me to not reveal the secret but I am a very stubborn person, so I decided to help him reveal his secret that he has been hiding for years from everyone.

"Let me be the one telling you all then. Well, you see, this fucking Alpha of yours actually rejected his true mate, which happens to be Rebecca who is also known as Belle. She was supposed to be your pack Luna, but it turns out that someone was so cruel to her and rejected her that he even allows some stranger to take over her fucking position!"

Everyone was shocked at first and slowly everyone’s expression starts to fume with anger from not telling them the truth. Blake gazed down at the floor, as if the floor has something interesting to look at, to avoid everyone's eye contact.

I could feel the room temperature in this hallway rising up which I am anticipating on what is going to happen to him.

Rebecca's parents walk to Blake and her mother slap him on his face hard which left her hand mark imprinted on his face, "How could you do that to my daughter? How long were you going to hide the truth from everyone?"

"Jane, I can explain…." Blake says.

Her father cut his words off, "You do not deserve my daughter. You are the reason why our relationship with her turned bad. If it is not because of you, we will still have her safe and sound."

They walked away while he mother was crying for her daughter. I mind linked Ryan, motioning him to bring them to one of our guest rooms and to let them rest because they looked pretty exhausted from the whole situation that is happening.

Rebecca's two brothers, Jake and Michael, came forward to Blake.

Michael says, "Alpha Blake, how could you do this to my sister?"

Michael grabbed his neck and punched Blake face hard on his face that he stumbles back and falls to the ground.

"I cannot reject belle who was once my best friend and I cannot hurt Diane, who was your adopted sister at that time. I thought that by rejecting her, everything would be alright, but I didn't even think that it would ever turn out this way. If I could turn back time, I will have definitely accepted her as my mate" Blake says.

"You could have sorted this thing properly without hurting her heart. Everything will be alright if you have not been fucking stupid to reject your own mate," Jake replied.

"I really regret hurting her since the day I rejected her."

"You deserve to be hated by everyone, especially my sister. After everything that you have done to her. No wonder Diane, left you too," Michael commented.

"I don't even know how I am going to face her after knowing the whole truth and not being there for her as an older brother when she needed help,” Jake uttered.

"We are really fucking stupid brothers who can't even protect their own sister heart and her life."

The truth is I am really enjoying the show a lot by standing at a corner and I appreciate the things that her family did to him as it kind of makes him feel like a total jackass.

What I am most curious about was what did Michael mean when he mentioned that Diane left Blake and that in fact made me wonder what happened to her.

Everyone slowly leaves the scene, leaving Blake, Rose and me. Blake was on the floor looking very defeated.

Rose stepped forward in front of him. "You really didn't know what she wanted through her life while you were happy being with your fake mate. Leave Rebecca alone and if I find out that you try to hurt her again, I will fucking find you and make sure that I feed your dead body to my dogs!"

"What exactly happened to her when all this happened?" He looked up at her and spoke softly.

"She went through so many things in her life that she feel her constantly going to lose her sanity especially the day when you mate with her fucking sister! She felt pain all over her body!" I felt furious again and said angrily.

"You better brace yourself for what is gonna happen to you because I will make sure that you suffer 10 times more than her!" I saw tears rolling down his cheek, but I don't fucking care about how he is feeling.

With that my sister and I walked away, leaving him behind while he was still kneeling down on the floor. I mind linking Ryan saying to go find Blake and bring him to one of the guests' rooms that is far from Rebecca's room.

After that, my sister and I separated with a 'goodbye' to each other and headed back to our room to sleep after the dreadful day.

During midnight,

I was suddenly awake from my sleep when someone screamed. The voice was familiar to me that I instantly knew whose voice it belongs to. It was Rebecca's voice. I quickly wear my clothing and dashed out from my room heading to her room. I was afraid of what had happened to her this time again.
