CHAPTER 20. Wedding bells

I sit on the edge of my bed on a sunny afternoon after the power holding company of Nigeria, Nepa as we call them disconnected the light wondering what it'll feel like to have a normal life. I haven't cried after that night. I have not been able to. I work, attend classes, visit my mom and sometimes my friends without saying anything about the incident and Abel has disappeared. After he dropped me home, He drove out and he has not been back in two weeks now and I haven't called so I am as guilty as he is. I guess if he ignores me, I would ignore him and nothing would happen and nobody would be at fault.

Despite the fact that I haven't seen him, I have been reading about wedding and trying to find my taste. This also without anybody's idea.

I look at dresses online and tried to imagine it on my body. After checking almost every site I saw, I decided to call my mom and tell her once and for all. I try not to worry about the money but I know it might be an issue.
