It is Alright

Somewhere in New York, there is a loud knock on the door.

When Andre opens the door, he sees the person he wished never to see again in this life.

Dale!

He frowns at the sight of the expensively dressed and well-groomed man whom he considered his lover for years until he showed his true nature. “What do you want?” he asks unkindly, blocking the doorway, a silent sign to the visitor that he is not welcome.

“Aren't you happy to see me, Andre? It's been years since we had a decent conversation," Dale tells him with a grin on his face. He looks Andre straight in the eye and feigns a painful expression at the man's dismissive attitude. “Can we put the past to rest and at least treat each other like civilized adults? Remember we were lovers, we were intimate, and you can't just wipe that away," he tries his luck.
