'Although she can fight, she chose to listen to him because that will probably distract him and will get injured.'
He started to search for any kind of threat while keeping Tsege behind him. She quietly moved behind him also trying to know what was up.
They moved further into the forest but they couldn't find anything. They were about to go back to where they were thinking that it's probably an animal but stopped when they hear another crack. Body stiff, they took another look to their surroundings.
Emanuel was so sure when the sound came from since he heard it again. He slowly approached. Slowly with Tsege on right behind him but they are met with nothing.
Confusion is what took over him face with a little bit of fear on what is going to happen next. He feared that something is going to happen to Tsege than getting scared for him.
There was a movement on one of the trees that surrounded them. He reached behind him to check if Tsege is there with him and he was relieved to find her with him.
His eyes traveled from tree to tree fast trying to find a figure but found none. Frowning his eyebrows he started to walk backward trying to find something he missed while walking to where they are right now.
Tsege caught a movement on one of the trees and actually saw a figure that seems like a monkey. She was about to laugh out so loud but hold it in. she put her hand on her fiancé's shoulder to take him out of his thought and protective state.
"What?" he whispered.
She laughed a little but composed herself fast. "Hey hey it's nothing. I saw it and it was a monkey."
His head turned to her so fast that she was worried that he might get a whiplash for a moment but forgot about when she saw him fine.
"What?" now it was her turn to ask that when he gave her grimacing look. "I really saw. I swear. It probably stole a banana. Now relax."
"I was just worried that it might take you away since you are so light."
She took a deep breath and exhaled.
"You okay?" he asked completely oblivious.
She stared at him for a moment which he raised his eyebrows in return. After her small grumbling moment, she started to walk back to her place more like her father's place with her arm in his wait and his on her shoulder.
On their way back, they dumped onto someone she never thought she would run to since her incident with her father.
Emanuel, who is back on full protecting mode, said "What are you doing here Wolde Samuel?" he asked with a hard voice which surprised Tsege.
Her eyes mover to find Wolde Samuel's right staring back at her with an emotion she can't figure out. She raised an eyebrow to which he changed his gaze to Emanuel's.
"Why don't you ask you soon to be father-in-law?"
"Do you know whose land you are on?" Emanuel retorted back with a clinched jaw. Wolde Samuel's eyes brightened in amusement as if he is watching an entertainment.
"Do you know that I have a position here?"
"Huh?" he asked confused.
"Thought so…" Wolde Samuel said. "Anyways excuse me." and walked away.
Tsege was so confused to the point she zoned out while staring at Emanuel.
'How is he out of his cell?
Shouldn't he be in his cell getting questioned?
Wait… did he say that he has some position here?
What was my father thinking?
Did he bribe him?
OH maybe threatened him?' she was brought back to present when Emanuel spoke.
"I am going to go to talk to you father on what he was thinking when he let Wolde Samuel have a position in Gojam."
She nodded her head in return and stood where she is seeing him go out of sight.
Sighing, she continued thinking on the possibilities that made her father go crazy on giving HIM a position.

Tsege was about to go to her bed when she saw something fall through her window or so she thought.
'The things that happened are getting to me now?
But I have seen worse…
Or maybe it's just something that I don't even have to worry over.' She convinced herself that it was nothing and she saw some animal falling… or to be specific a cat falling from somewhere.
She scoffed at her self's foolishness. Shaking her head she went to her bed and lie down and sigh as she got comfortable.
She has been everywhere catching up on what she missed in these five days. She has been jumping around the place like a kangaroo.
Playing with kids, gossiping with her friends and helping elders was what she has been doing if we have to be specific but the incident was in the back of her mind and now her unanswered are hitting her back with so much force.
Groaning, she rubbed her temples as these thoughts of her are giving her headaches.
'I should try getting some sleep… I need to talk to father tomorrow and that's going to take all my energy left in me'.
Just then she closed her eyes, she heard something crack again but this is different from what she heard earlier. This is high pitched. It's like a sound an old door would make when it's opened but it wasn't that long.
She sits up straight and looked for her sword to find it placed in the other side of her room which is past her window and she can't risk anything.
So she stood up slowly start to walk as if she is approaching a stray dog. She stood right beside her window her back facing the wall.
She tried to look what went down from where she stood but found none but right there and then something fell from somewhere up.
Her heart is beating so hard that it felt like is going to explode. Bending, she walked past her window without making someone was passing.
She finally grabbed her sword and slid it out of its cover. She dragged a chair to the darkest part of her room and sat down without making any sound.
She is facing both her door and window at the same time waiting for the perfect time to fight.
