I took a deep breath.
As important as my relationship was, the two things at hand were also extremely critical.
"Yes, go on."
Elias disappeared for five days.
I asked Yvette to trace the last location of his phone and found that it was in front of a cat cafe, and after that, his phone was turned off.
There was no sign of him at the orphanage. Susie had gone to her new home. Mrs. Sanders even asked me why Elias had stopped visiting the orphanage lately.
I didn't know where else he would go besides the orphanage, cat cafés, and the milk tea store where he used to work.
He was nowhere to be found.
He didn't even have any friends or family. He didn't know anyone but me here.
Was Elias really that heartless?
I had only mentioned the divorce in a fit of rage. Did he have to take it so seriously and cut off all contact with me so coldly?
Wasn't he afraid that I would be sad and in pain?
