Chapter 59: He Came Like a God

"Actually, I like the ocean too, except that it's so ever-changing that if there is nothing to suppress it, it will form monstrous waves and drown everything."

"Yeah." I moved away without a trace, avoiding him, "Mr. Jennings, I invited you just to make proper apologies with you this time. It is too difficult for us to complete the order in ten days. If you can give us more time, I will be grateful to you."

His eyes lingered greedily on me.

I didn't expect this old guy to refuse nobody.
