Chapter 12: Did something happen between us yesterday ?

Leo made her lie on the bed slowly so that he couldn't wake her up.

After this he glared at her. She looked at ease like this and innocent. He was still wondering where she got the guts to kiss him like that.

He decided to cover her with a blanket which after he walked out of the room and locked the door behind him.

The living room was also beautifully organized and it had a very big photo of her .In the photo she had a beautiful smile on her face and gwe hair was being blown. She really looked beautiful opposite it was the flat screen faced but the two cream couches and a glass table.

He finally left and locked the door after him. He sighed and walked to the elevator when he heard some movemenys behind him. When he turned to look behind there was no one.

He made slow steps to the elevator and he could still feel that someone was following him so he suddenly turned around only to see a man in black clothes run away. Leo ran after her and the case begun along the corridor. When ran to the stairs Leo put his hands on one of the stair case stands and jumped off it to the stairs below now that he stood just before the man.

The man immediately turned on seeing him to climb the stairs again but in just one step Leo grabbed his clothes from the back and pulled him to him.

" Why are you following me ? " Leo asked aggressively.

" I wasn't following you. It's a misunderstanding. " He said making Leo to smirk.

" A misunderstanding ? " He asked tightening the grip.

The man narrowed his eyes and suddenly attacked Leo with a punch but Leo saw it in time and released him in order to move away and dodge it. The man attacked again with the other hand and and this it caught Leo .

He smirked not believing this and kicked the man hard on his stomach that he now at down growling in pain. After this he bent to him and caught his neck.

" You better tell me peacefully if you don't want to die. " Leo said to him with a serious look.

" Its a man who paid me to follow Myra and find out where she stays. But I didn't come to do her any harm. " The man managed to atter out.

" Which man ? " Leo questioned.

" I don't know either. I just received a call from my friends that there was a job for me. " He said.

Leo gave deep sigh and then released him when he saw some people approach them.

The man who was scared got up immediately and ran away.

' So these guys are still planning to kidnap her ? ' He thought and got his phone to ring Officer Williams the Assistant Chief Officer.

" Leo, What makes you call ? " He asked.

" I found something suspicious. " He reported.

" About Myra ? " Asked the Assistant Chief Officer.

" Yes sir. There's has been a man following Ms Myra. I am sure they are looking for another opportunity to kidnap her. " Leo said.

" If you find something more suspicious, Tell me and I will send you a few officers to help you " He suggested.

" Its okay. I will handle this alone for now. " Said Leo.

" Okay.."

After the call, Leo got into the car and drove off to his apartment.

Thursday W2..

Myra woke up that morning feeling dizzy and very tired. She yawned while she turned around the bed and finally opened her eyes to look at the clock on the bedside table.

" Oh my, It's already 9..And my head hurts..." she said softly while she got up to sit on the bed and she started remembering what happened the previous night.

" I was drunk...and..and..Leo carried me to the car. Is he the one who btought me home ? " She asked still trying to remember and then the memory of her kissing Leo finally came back.

She covered her mouth on recalling this.

",Did I kiss him ? or...or...it was a dream ? what if I kissed him ? how will I face him today ? ooh God ! let it be a dream..." she prayed and after went to have a shower which after she dressed up amd finished a few minutes past 10.

She put on a green two piece of an offsoulder top and a short tight skirt of the same color and designed which after she wore black open heels.

She took her time to dress up afterlol she was the boss. After checking and putting on heels watch, She got her purse to leave.

The moment she opened the door she was very surprised to see Leo standing right there leaning against the wall.

" Why are you this side ? " She asked with stunned eyes.

" Stop asking much. You are already two hours late. Let's go ! " He said and walked away.

Myra frowned and begun walking after him.

' Why is he being strange , Did something happen yesterday ? Or...what of I really kissed him ? '

She asked herself innery. But of course Leo was doing this because he knew that there must be men following her step by step amd they could kidnap her anytime.

They got into the car and drove off to the Company.

Myra was still confused if she had been in a dream or if she really kissed her. She kept her glare on him and he could see her from the rare view mirror.

" Don't you have better things to do other than watching me all day along ? " Leo asked making her to look away immediately.

"..Who...who..said I am ...looking at you ? ",She stammered.

Leo just smirked and continued driving until tgey reached the company and went to the elevator.

They were both silent until she said.

" Did anything happen between us yesterday ? "

Leo immediately coughed on remembering her kiss.

" Are you okay ? " She asked with worry on seeing him cough violently and the elevator opened.

" I will go first.." He said and left her in rush.
