It seemed like he was chasing her away.

As Myra arrived at the Walker's mansion, she was greeted by Raymond's waiting , and her stepmother, Cissy, who were waiting for her in the grand foyer.

Raymond's face lit up with a warm smile as he opened his arms to hug his daughter.

"Myra, darling, it's so great to see you!" he exclaimed, holding her tightly. "I've missed you so much," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion.

Cissy, standing beside him, smiled warmly and nodded in agreement, her eyes shining with welcome.

Myra hugged her father back tightly, feeling a wave of emotions wash over her.

" Father.." She cried.

She had thought she would never see her family again, that she would never experience the warmth and love of her home.

But now, as she held her father close, she felt a sense of relief and joy that she couldn't contain.

Tears of happiness streamed down her face as she buried her face in her father's shoulder, feeling safe and loved once again.

"Daddy, I'm so glad to be home," she sobbed, her voice shaking with emotion.

Raymond held her close, stroking her hair and whispering words of comfort,

"You're safe now, Myra. You're home, and you'll never be taken away from us again."

After the emotional hug with her father, Myra turned to Cissy, who was smiling warmly at her.

"Myra, darling, come give me a hug,"

Cissy said, opening her arms. Myra smiled and walked into Cissy's embrace, feeling a sense of comfort and love.

She hugged Cissy tightly, feeling grateful for the warmth and support of her stepmother.

Cissy held her close, whispering words of welcome and affection,

"We're so glad you're home, Myra. We've missed you so much." Myra hugged her back, feeling a sense of belonging and happiness wash over her.

As they pulled back from their hug, Raymond smiled and said, "Now, let's get to the welcome back dinner we've prepared for you, Myra. Everything is ready and waiting for us in the dining room." Myra's eyes lit up at the mention of food, and she followed her father and Cissy to the table.

As they sat down, Raymond looked at Myra with concern and said,

"Myra, you've lost a bit of weight, haven't you? You need to eat a lot to get your strength back."

He gestured to the spread of food before them,

"So, please, don't be shy. Eat as much as you can, darling."

Myra smiled, feeling a little self-conscious about her weight loss, but also grateful for her father's concern.

She nodded and began to serve herself, feeling a sense of comfort and normalcy wash over her as she sat down to a warm and loving meal with her family.

As Leo stood under the shower, the warm water cascaded down his body, but every drop seemed to remind him of Myra's touch.

He couldn't shake off the memories of their passion and his mind kept wandering back to the night they spent together.

He was still confused about what had happened, and he tried to blame the alcohol for his actions.

"I was drunk," he told himself, "I didn't know what I was doing."

But despite his attempts to justify his behavior, he couldn't forget the hurt and anger in Myra's eyes when she discovered he wasn't a police officer.

He remembered her words,

"You used to call me a hypocrite, but you're no better."

The sting of her accusation still lingered, and he couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt.

He also recalled her parting words, "I never want to talk to you or see you again."

The finality of her statement had left him reeling, and he couldn't shake off the feeling that he had lost her.

As the water continued to flow, Leo's thoughts swirled with regret and uncertainty, leaving him feeling lost and alone.

He left the washroom and dressed up ready to sleep.

But as Leo was about to get into bed, the power suddenly went out, plunging the room into darkness.

He stood there for a moment, wondering what to do next. His thoughts turned to Barbara, and he decided to check on her.

He made his way to her room, feeling his way through the darkness, and found some candles to light the way.

As he entered her room, he saw Barbara standing in the dim light, still in a robe and her hair wet from a recent shower.

She was trying to use her phone, probably to find a flashlight app or call for help.

The candlelight danced across her face, and Leo was struck by the sight of her, vulnerable and beautiful, in the sudden darkness.

" Leo, You are here ?" She asked.

He walked over to a nearby table and began to arrange the candles, trying to create a warm and comforting ambiance.

" I thought you needed some light." He said.

As he did, he couldn't help but steal glances at Barbara, who was standing in the soft light, her wet hair clinging to her skin, and her robe slightly parted, revealing a glimpse of her cleavage.

She smiled at him, and Leo felt a pang of attraction, or so he thought.

Barbara noticed his gaze and walked over to him, concern etched on her face.

"Leo, how's your wound? Myra told me you were shot "

she asked, referring to the injury he had sustained weeks ago.

" Getting better.," He says.

"Let me take a look." Leo nodded, and Barbara gently began to tend to his wound.

As she worked, she looked up at him and their faces locked.

She looked so beautiful and irresistible. And she kept silent as it waiting for him to do something.

Leo slowly leaned in, and they shared a soft, gentle kiss. But as their lips touched, Leo felt a sudden jolt of realization - he wasn't feeling anything.

No spark, no passion, no connection. He was just going through the motions.

Midway through the kiss, Leo pulled back, his eyes locking onto Barbara's.

She looked up at him, expectation and affection in her eyes, " What's wrong ?" She asked.

" Nothing, You must be exhausted from the sail. Please have some rest" He said and got off the bed.

" Leo !"

" Good night .." He spoke gently and left the room.

" Huh.," Barbara cursed:

' Why is he acting weird ?'

She thought and remembered Myra's words.

…Barbara, Something happened at the Islamd…

Now Barbara begun getting different thoughts.

' Could that be between Leo and her ? '

She asked herself.

" But no, I am sure Leo still hates her besides spending with her time at the Islamd." She shook off the thought.

Leo went back to his room and entered the bed.

He felt a pang of guilt and confusion. He didn't feel the same way, he left yesterday when he kissed Myra.

He realized that he had been pretending to have feelings for Barbara all along.
