I choose Vegas if they offer Heaven's gate

"Looks like I won the bet. You can hand over that cash tomorrow morning." Kokonoi snickered to the others when he heard Haruchiyo's greeting to his girlfriend.

"They were so close to 18 months! I can't believe I said two years." Ran desperately flew his arms back and face palmed. His younger brother slapped his back in pity, "I didn't even think he'd make it one year."

"You all gave him way too much credit, I gave him three days in the original bet. Second round bets I said he'd fuck up on their first-year anniversary." Kakucho shook his head, he was looking towards the double doors as he spoke. Akashi got up from the chair he had slid over to the back door to smoke. He put his ear up to the door and turned to the other men.

"The real Sanzu was going to come out eventually, right? Koko I think you should record this."

"For what?"

"I have a feeling our second in command won't remember too much of this in the morning." When Takeomi slightly opened the double doors, he couldn't help smirking to himself. He had waited too long. Senju was convinced their brother had changed but he knew. He knew that eventually Sanzu would ruin her. This was his 'I told you so' moment.

Y/n had been in the middle of taking off her shoes. She was oddly leveled to the ground, with one heel on and the other off. "Excuse me?!" Wide eyes turned angry. Her eyebrows clutched, jaw tight. Sanzu had been leaning onto the wall by the stairs looking up at the chandelier, bored. He fixed his eyes back to his girlfriend. "I asked you if you had a good time tonight." His pitch unchanging, devoid of any emotion.

Gripping onto the back of her other heel Y/n ripped it off and stomped her foot. Holding onto the heel she widened her arms out, shrugging her shoulders. "You called me a slut!"

"Did I?," his gaze was now on the floor he mimicked concern, "Hm why would I do that?"

His tone became bitter and sarcastic as he pushed himself up and off the wall. "Do you think maybe you were doing something that would give me a reason to call you that?"

"What?!" Baffled couldn't even begin to describe how she was feeling. Y/n looked from him to Senju, her best friend's bright blue eyes wide and mouth gaped open. Well I'm not the only one completely thrown off by this. He looks so fucked up, I could knock him on his ass with a finger.

"Doing something?" If he wants to play this fucking game, let's play Sanzu. Wouldn't be the first stupid ass fight we've had. But CHEATING?! Where is that even coming from, "What exactly do you think I was doing?"

Sanzu ran his fingers through his hair, sighing heavily. Acting as if this was all an inconvenience to him, because in his mind it was. Why is she making me feel guilty? She's the one who started this, pushing me away since school started. She probably really has cheated and now I can just get her to admit it.

"I think that you were putting out to the first guy who gave you attention tonight. And probably every night you aren't with me since you started school."

"HUH?!"

"Huh?, he teased, mocking her, and started laughing. It was his shrill, not the belly laugh Y/n was so used to hearing but the one only enemies knew. "I mean honestly Y/n that's how we met. I really wouldn't put it past you." He was slowly walking towards her now, smirk on his face but his eyes were dead.

"Haruchiyo! What the fuck is your issue?!" Senju reached her limit. The reality of what was truly happening had sunk deep into her bones. Haruchiyo had always had problems with anxiety, confidence, and a sense of control in life. His habits hid those problems. Now instead of soothing, they had very obviously amplified his inner demons. He snapped,

"My issue is the fact that my wife is a cheating whore!" another earsplitting laugh and his focus was back to Y/n, "All those college boy hotshots really treat you good don't they dollface." His jester smile faded to animosity and a scowl, "I want you out."

He stood in front of Y/n who hadn't even been able to step away from the closed front door yet.

"Get the fuck out of my house!" Reading his thoughts would've been impossible. He didn't have any. He was fueled by emotion, the drugs put his mind on autopilot. If he had been more conscious, he would've realized that these feelings were a direct translation of what he felt for himself. Subconscious would've told him he was doing this on purpose. He was punishing himself by pushing her away because he wasn't enough for her. Just like the woman earlier, Y/n would've found someone better than him, someone she deserved. The hatred and disgust mixed with the doubts he had already had. The murder of the woman earlier had simply been the trigger. The drugs in his system the gun, loaded with bullets of hurtful words. He was aiming at Y/n with purpose.

"What guys Haru?" she was exhausted and defeated. After experiencing such a good night with her friends, it drained her to have to deal with something so heavy and straining now. With a deep breath out she continued, "Tell me what guys? You give me some proof I cheated and I'll leave."

Silence. They just stared into each other's eyes. Both angry and piercing each other but silent. Being this close to him and being able to study his face Y/n knew why this night had taken such a sour turn.

"Seriously how high are you right now?"

Haruchiyo's eyes were black, pupil taking up most of the blue space. The whites of them were blood shot, deep red with tiny veins scattered like lightning bolts. His eyes were a lost storm, glossed over in a haze. He perked up a little when she had asked that, the sad attempt to once again trick her into thinking he was sober.

"What." He looked offended, an addict's manipulative shield.

I refuse to turn a blind eye to this again. There's a difference between him taking that stuff for his anxiety and taking it to get this fucked up. This is out of control. I can't show him any mercy.
