Fortunately, the hot contents of the coffee wasn't spilled on Zheng Tianyi.
" Sir!!! Are you okay" Han Sen hurried over to where Zheng Tainyi. He found that Zheng Tianyi hasn't registered what happened yet, he was still massaging his head. He sighed and called for someone to clean the office.
Zheng Tainyi picked up his phone and dialed Butler Yim's number which was answered on the second ring.
" Sir. Do you need something? "
" It's nothing....how is Yuxuan?"
"Ahh....Young Master is alright. I now see the reason he wanted to stay at home. He is curious about almost everything. " Butler Yim responded fondly looking at Yuxuan bobbing his head up and down at the maid who was struggling in English to explain something to him.
" Hmm."
" Would you like me to switch to video call so that you can see him?"
" No need." After a long while his cold voice sounded again " Take care of him" He said and hung up immediately.
The next day
Jiang Xiuying smiled in satisfaction staring at her reflection in the mirror. She adjusted the collar of her white shirt and applied a lip gloss on her full lips. " Muah!!" She blew a kiss to herself loving how she looked like. In her white shirt and beige coloured skirt, she looked proper for the day's event. " Which of it would be better?" She contemplated on tying her hair up or letting it down. She tied her hair up and looked at her side view the mirror. " No...no...no.....I think tying it up makes me look too formal " She then let her hair down and tucked a few strands behind her ear. " Aww....You are such a cutie" She praised herself loving her classy image.
Next, She ran around her room searching for a green little box that she kept somewhere but couldn't remember. " I can't believe I actually forgot where 'Greenade' was placed" She said opening the drawers below her dressing table. When she didn't find it, she stood at the centre of her room trying to recall where it was. The last thing she remembered was rehearsing her smile in front of the mirror while holding 'Greenade'. " Arghhhh!!!!" She grabbed a handful of her hair scattering her nearly arranged hair. It was as if she would explode if the box didn't appear in front of her. " You little cutie.....try to remember" She said pounding her left fist in her right palm. She didn't forget to call herself a cutie.
" Oh right!!! " She quickly hopped on her bed and threw her blanket on the floor but all she saw was her pink bedspread and nothing more. " No way!!! I recall sleeping with it last night" She pouted and kicked of the pillows but still, ' Greenade' didn't show any sign of appearance. " Ughhh...'' She ran to her phone and saw the time was 9:30. Tears formed in her eyes knowing she has got only 30 minutes left to get ready. After she spent about four hours, it wasn't still enough to get ready. She tapped her barefoot on the ground without noticing she wasn't putting on her favourite bunny slippers. Not wanting to give up, she went back to her bed then knelt beside it and checked under the bed.
Lo and behold, she found ' Greenade' lying leisurely on the floor waiting for her to pick it up. Being a very careless person, there were most of times she wished everything on earth could talk so that if she misplaced something, it would alert her. After bringing ' Greenade' out of its hiding place, she blew off the imaginary dust on its surface and kissed it.
Although Jiang Xiuying didn't open the box, she remembered every detail of the diamond necklace. " Thank God I found you" She placed it on her dressing table . When she turned back, she realised how disorganised her room was. Some of her clothes where placed in different corners of the room while looking for what would make her look good. Her blankets and pillows were also scattered. She sighed and arranged them as fast as she could. She combed her hair with her fingers as she picked up ' Greenade' with her free hand and placed it inside her mini leather purse. She grabbed a pair of stilettoes and ran out of her house without locking the door. She had nothing to fear since the security of her house was quite tight.
" Miss Jiang. " The driver greeted her respectfully. " Mr. Zheng has something urgent to attend to on his end. He would join us there " Just like that, the bubbling excitement Jiang Xiuying has been feeling since she woke up died down a little bit.
The shiny black car stopped at the front of the marriage registration building. Jiang Xiuying alighted from the car. The butterflies in her stomach began their choreography as she sighted Zheng Tianyi approaching her with his assistant trailing behind him. Her hands reached for her hair and smoothened it then tucked some parts behind her ear.
" Pre...President Zheng " Jiang Xiuying stuttered. Her cheeks already turned pinkish in colour. She remembered when she met him for the third time when she was still in highschool.
Zheng Tianyi merely looked at her as he walked pass her into the building. Jiang Xiuying wasn't bothered by it. " There's no avenue for escaping " She muttered caressing the surface of ' Greenade' . " Wait for me " She yelled as she ran after him.
" Mr. Zheng and Miss Jiang please move closer to each other and smile for the camera" Said the photographer looking at the two ' Like Poles ' that refuse to be attract.
Jiang Xiuying stared at Zheng Tianyi's stony face and took the initiative. She moved closer to him and rested her head on his shoulder. " It's now and forever. Smile ". Zheng Tianyi froze as her head naturally landed on his shoulder. Her milky scent assaulted his nose that made it unable for him to process her words.
" President Zheng? Please smoke for the camera " She said then her most natural smile appeared on her face. Zheng Tianyi lips curled up in amusement hearing her pleading tone.
